I've been taking pictures

Hello, just like the title says I've taken a few pictures . But first welcome to my new friends. I had a quick finish its March Mayhem by Pine Mountain Designs I've had it for sometime and decided to finally stitch it up.started it 9/7/2012 and finished it 9/9/2012. It's been awhile since I've stitched on Aida and it felt different it took me a minute to get my barring  with the fabric after stitching on Linen for so long.I think it turned out nicely.
Recently, I been having some little visitors they are so cute.I enjoy watching them waddle across the yard as they head down to the lake. They have a little path that leads  to the lake in the back yard I even feed them bread crumbs.I hope you all enjoy the pictures.

Happy Labor Day

I hope that everyone will take a little time to enjoy the Holiday today, at least exhale (smile) I am going to hopefully cross stitch some today .I started my morning off with a brisk walk with my husband ,I've read today newspaper and between getting Briana ready for school tomorrow I will cook ,clean and cross stitch not exactly in that order but you get the meaning.

I have Pictures of Scooba Dooba that I took Saturday that I thought I would post but as fate would have it we had a power outage so I waited until today. I have laughed at these pictures, because there were errors like you would not believe . How is it I can be looking at the pattern and make such mistakes ? Anyway as I crossed stitched Saturday night after the power was restored THANK GOD it was as HOT as the DEVIL
I saw my mistakes. (Many Mistakes LOL) All are now corrected . It's  a good thing I can laugh at myself.
Enjoy the pictures , I have decided this will be framed when I am finished cross stitching it because it stitched on white 32 ct opalescent and I plan to add seed beads for the sea life eyes and I may place some more in other areas it will be a unique piece when finished.

A Hello.

I see I have some new followers, Hello Ladies Welcome to Barentina's and Ginger's Place .Sorry I've been away for awhile but, I been working on getting the kids in school, and trying to get things together around the house. That includes myself.

I have been cross stitching  and reading a lot lately.  I have finished Hocus Pocus By Lizzie Kate and I started Scooba Dooba by Raise The Roof .I will have picture in my next post .I do still have to order the candy corn buttons for Hocus Pocus and put them on and I'm trying to decide how I would like to have that finished (flat fold or cube). How, I wish there was someone local here in town that could do my finishing. It would make for a happy time for me.

The books I've read are" The 5th Horseman " and "Kiss The Girls" by James Patterson .  They have both been a great read and highly recommended if you like mysteries.

A Finish and a Start
I finished the Garden Cat and now I've started Hocus Pocus (another Happy Dance to me) ! Oh, btw, I've been busy working out at least 4 days week so that I can move around. I get stiff really fast so I've started working out at CURVES . I was Dx with RA a year ago and so to keeping moving I work out whether I loose weight or not. Ok, back to cross stitch! I have over (I'm going to guess) maybe around fifteen finished cross stitched pieces that need finishing which is not my specialty so hopefully here in the not so distance future I will eventually get them completed in some form or fashion and present them here on my blog. I am into seasonal theme stitching and I have quite a few Halloween pieces. I think its the colors that surprises even me. The fall colors lures me in every time LOL!  Now don't get me wrong, I do have other holidays I like but Halloween I have the most, with Easter following a close second. I have got to work on the other Holidays a bit more, in time you will see. I have already decided on my next start however unlike me it usually takes a little longer to decide these things.  I have decided its going to be Scooba Dooba! I've had this pattern for a while and its finally time to break it out, so when I'm done stitching Hocus Pocus I will begin Scooba Dooba by Raise the Roof. During my cross stitching leisure I've been watching the Olympics "GO TEAM USA"! I really do enjoy watching both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games. I'm so proud of our country. They really are doing a great job!  Well, enough of my chatting... new pics below!
